How do customers use their points?

Customer use their points to redeem a specific item or a voucher; both of these are setup as a promotion in Tidy Office. Some examples:

  • 1x Tap Beer for 350pts (i.e the equivalent of $35 spend); or 
  • $50 Voucher for 5000pts (i.e the equivalent of $500 spend)

When a customer redeems an item promotion for points the customer can choose to 'Use Now' or 'Save for Later'. When the customer is ready to collect they simply present their phone to staff who press the two buttons on screen to confirm the process, record the stock in the POS and then provide the item.

If the customer redeems a voucher promotion for points, the voucher is automatically added to their profile and then used when they next make a purchase.
