How do I apply for my Payment Gateway (FZ)?

What’s the process

  1. Complete the online form & submit. Make sure you see the final submission page “Application Submitted - Thank you

  2. NAB Bank will processes your gateway request (this can take up to 2 weeks)

  3. Your Gateway approved & activated

  4. You will receive an email invitation to setup a username/password for Merchant Portal Access

What if I am having issues

For any issues specifically related to the Online Form or if you want to update the status of your submission please contact support@fatzebra.com.au. Make sure you clearly state your business name, your ABN, your organisation that you are client of LOKE.

Before you Start

  • Use a Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Apple Safari web browser to access the online form. Do not use Internet Explorer as you will have compatibility issue
  • Submission should only take 5-10 minutes
You will need:
  • Business details (ie. address, ABN)
  • Directors details
  • Business Bank Account details (for deposits)
  • The bank account details provided must be for a business account
  • The bank statement you upload must show the same Business Name you are submitting the online form for. The is a requirement under Australian law.
  • The bank statement you upload should be in .PDF format

What information should I submit for the Business Information
Feel free to use the following pre-written answers if you’re unsure of what figures to put in:

FAQ

What is a payment gateway
A payment gateway is used to the process the transaction when a customer is paying with their LOKE app and then deposits funds into your nominated bank account.

This is very similar to the account and gateway that sits behind your EFTPOS terminal that is responsible for the same thing; processing and deposits.

Why do I need a payment gateway
Each LOKE store will need their own gateway, as each store is a separate business. If you own more than one store these can share the same gateway. Without a gateway, your customers will not be able to use your app and you will not be able to receive deposits.

Who is Fat Zebra?
Fat Zebra is the actual provider of your payment gateway. Fat Zebra is PCI compliant payment provider, Australian owned and operated in partnership with ANZ, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, St George, NAB and Bank SA.  All customer payment information is encrypted and stored in an electronic vault. Information on the customer's payment method (credit card, Masterpass accounts) are not visible to merchants, stores or LOKE.
